OlMarai
A fly camp is a light, mobile camp. Our crew brings the tents to your chosen location, pitches them by hand and moves you to new sites through your stay. Nothing about it is permanent.
We are not based in one place. You choose where you would like to camp, and we bring the tents and the whole experience to you. So far we have camped in Laikipia, hosted on Shoulmai Conservancy.
You spend two nights at each site. Then we move you to a new site within your chosen location, so you wake to a new view.
Each tent has a comfortable bed, a wardrobe, a luggage rack, a night stand with a lamp, and its own bathroom with a flushing modern toilet, a shower and a sink. Outside, there is a veranda with chairs and a table.
The whole camp runs on solar power. It is clean, quiet and kind to the land.
We source our water from the host community and use it with care, so that nothing goes to waste.
Yes. Members of the host community provide security through the night, and our crew stays in camp with you.
Days include game drives, sundowners and time with the local communities. Evenings are for bonfires and stories shared by the elders.
Send us an inquiry with where you would like to camp, your dates and the size of your group. You can also call us or message us on WhatsApp.
